The linen lasts a decade-plus. The beeswax coating refreshes every 2–3 years. Four steps, twice a year, and you're done.
Laver à la main, eau froide
Cool tap water, no detergent. The beeswax holds up to gentle washing — but heat or soap will strip the coating.
Sécher à plat à l'air
Lay the bag on a clean towel and let it dry naturally. Avoid direct sun and dryers — both can soften the wax unevenly.
Réchauffer avec un séchoir
If the wax goes stiff after the wash or after cold storage, a 10–20 second pass on warm setting reactivates the coating. The bag goes supple again.
Recirer une fois par an
Sprinkle a teaspoon of food-grade beeswax pellets inside the bag, set in a low oven (~80°C/175°F) for 3–4 minutes until the wax melts and absorbs. Smooth flat as it cools. That's it.
